5 Washington Players Earning Rave Reviews At Training Camp | By: Zachary Neel
With only two padded practices in the books, it may be a bit early to declare who the winners and losers of training camp in Washington are just yet, but there have been some solid reports coming out of practice so far this week, and a number of young players have made some good impressions early on.
With the lack of a preseason this year, getting solid reps in training camp and turning heads when you get the chance is going to be of the utmost importance for rookies and players on the bubble, and a handful have made the most of their opportunities thus far. Here are five players who have had some rave reviews so far in Washington.
Finding any tight end in Washington who can step up and give some productive snaps is going to be huge, and the fact that there as been some buzz about Marcus Baugh thus far is highly encouraging. The former Ohio State player is yet to take any real snaps in the NFL, but he has been getting a major workload thus far in training camp, and he seems to be doing well with the reps that he’s given.
With Logan Thomas seeming to hold onto the TE1 role so far in training camp, Baugh is a big name to watch going forward as the rest of the depth chart at that position shakes out.
